Everything we do we believe in challenging the status quo, we believe in thinking differently and helping our people do the same. The way we challenge this status quo is by providing books written for, by and about the people of African Diaspora. Our vision is to connect authors, writers and publishers to readers, book clubs, libraries, etc. ;and ensure black books are accessible to anyone eager and inspired to read about black culture.
We support businesses/partners aspiring to take on the same mission so we also offer wholesaling services. We truly believe, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and we see our community as such.
It is important for us to provide the deepest inventory of books, enrichment, culture and education of African Diaspora for all.
OUR STORY
We are the fastest growing premier bookstore catering to retail and wholesale customers with 1000+ titles of bestselling and classic African American books. We were founded in 2020 to meet the literary needs of readers nationwide in search of books written for, by, and about people of the African Diaspora. We also feature our own collection of publications as well as countless titles on subjects including natural health, spirituality, history, metaphysics, black empowerment, hair care, and children’s books.
